Deliverance

It was a during a Church convention called Camp meeting in Dolfor, Newtown, Mid-Wales which took place from 23rd – 31st July 2011 that the Lord inspired me to write this which was in correspondence with the theme for the event. Following shortly will be another poem for the final event. God bless you as you read.

It may have been through the rain,

Through the waves,

Through the sun,

Through heart aches

But we made it through to sure deliverance, counting the cost

Out of it now,

Out of the sorrow,

Out of that burden

Out of the shackles

Out of life’s hurdles

Into that hope

Through the road is rough but over but over destination is sure

Though it seems dangerous but our security is sure

Though it is full of uncertainty but eternity is sure

If we stick close to the master throughout life’s journey

Thus we say: Deliver thy people, O Lord
