Faces

The world displays its faces

Faces of political decisions

Faces of corruption

Faces bent under slavery

We all have the faces

***

Walking along the streets

of cities, countries and continents

You can see the faces

They are readable

With open hearts of understanding

We pray for them

***

Faces, still disillusioned

By what may be

In years to come

But what will ever pay

We lift orisons above for them

***

Faces with ache and pain

We still do have them

We carry them, unheard

Yet speaks for itself

***

The world decaying

We lift our unceasing prayers

Above: Our burdens lifted at calvary
