I proclaimed
In my heart
It burst forth
In laughter
And heartfelt praise
I didn’t realise
The enemy of my soul
Listened to every word
Every leap of my heart
And he came
Just to stop the praise
Instead I proclaimed
Shouted loud
Said it to all and sundry
Then came the victory!
